Deixo aqui meu eterno protesto com relação
ao resultado do Grammy na categoria
Best Rock Instrumental Performance.
É impressionante alguém achar que
"Once Upon A Time In The West"
do Bruce Springsteen seria melhor que
"Malignant Narcissism" do Rush.
Inaceitável.
I leave here my eternal protest with respect
to the outcome of the Grammy in the category
Best Rock Instrumental Performance.
It is amazing somebody thinks
"Once Upon A Time In The West"
from Bruce Springsteen would be better than
"Malignant Narcissism" of Rush.
Unacceptable.

Hellraiser, I completely agree with you.
Looking back since the "Moving pictures" album, it's clear to me that Rush is not a mainstream band. DEFINETLY not. Despite the band's excellent tradition in selling albums.
This is the only reason I can find to explain all the 5 times that Rush lost the Grammy Award Best Rock Instrumental Performance.
Besides, they are not selected to the rock & roll hall of fame, which is also ridiculous.
Perhaps things can change if Rush make a record with an acoustic setlist. With special guests Justin Timberlake, Puff Daddy, Shakira, Beyonce and Slipknot.
Ps: teclei com meu inglês porco para os estrangeiros entenderem minha indignação com mais essa injustiça feita com a lendária banda Canadense.

The Grammys, like the Rock and Roll Hall of Lame, is a corporate sham. Sure Rush deserves a Grammy...for more than best instrumental (although I would have picked 'The Main Monkey Business' over 'Malignant..."), but no one takes the Grammys seriously.

Sonha meu amigo!
Até parece q uma banda não comercial, vai ganhar um troféu frente um cara q pros americanos é um meio q um mito, desde a década de 70.
Isso se chama tbm de jabá das grandes gravadoras!
a non-commercial band won't never win a 'statuet' in a awards with an 'american monster' like him, he still a mith in USA since the seventies.
So have some 'payola' from the major companies.
